“ Came on karaoke night. Not recommended if you want some conversation with your meal. It got very loud in there. I would rate this one of the better seafood boil places in the city. Facility and staff are welcoming. Fun and fitting ambience and decor. Nice place for date night or groups! ”
“ Tonight was my first time at the Holland road location! We sat at the bar and still had a great experience. There were only 2 bar tenders but ours was still very attentive. Our food and drinks came very fast.. they were doing karaoke as well so that was a fun addition. The food was just as good as the Norfolk location! ”
“ This restaurant is in a small shopping center next to a Princess Tea location. There was plenty of parking, and the inside was roomy. It is a great place to take the family, though it can be expensive. The service was quick, and the staff was amiable; I think we waited 15-20 minutes for food after we ordered. We had two boil bags, some apps, a couple of drinks, and a kid's meal, totaling 117 dollars. The food was delicious as well! Would come back here again! ”
“ The boil bags were amazing. I got the lobster tails and snow crab. Everyone else got shrimp and crab except my daughter. She got chargrilled oyster. She said they were to die for. The gumbo was also outstanding. The music was great. The staff great too! I have been in VB 3.5 years and just found this gem! We will be bag again. Oh and the check with drinks, 5 gumbos and 1 Cesar salad, 5 boil bags, the oysters and coconut shrimp came to $211.00. You cannot beat that with my boil bag having 4 lobster tails and a 1/2 pound of snow crab. ”
“ Absolutely will recommend this on vacation with my family in Virginia Beach. First time having a boil had Dungeness crab muscles and shrimp our granddaughter is the pickiest eater she Love it Our waiter was great ! He try to get us a break on my nephew sliders he does eat seafood and my sister so he had the sliders they were not good at all as well as the chicken tenders ( which I know not the place but should work on that because when you have kids that shouldn't be that hard to get right! The place was nice and Drinks on point !!! I had the classic margarita was busy but not loud I would definitely do it again ”
“ I know this is a seafood boil restaurant but let me tell you, they have the BEST lobster rolls in the seven cities. I drive from Suffolk just to get one. I've been to other places that are "lobster restaurants " and they pale in comparison. The toasted, buttered roll and huge portion of lobster just hits the spot. My husband had a crawfish boil and loved it, they were huge! The garlic parm wings were great too. Our server was awesome, couldn't ask for more! ”
“ Looking for seafood? Come to Boil Bay! The ambiance is great. The decor reminds me of being in the water with sharks and fish everywhere. I ordered the "pick your own" meal. I ordered shrimp with no heads and a lb of crab legs. I opted out of corn (sorry, mom no vegetables for me lol) and got eggs and potatoes. I ordered all this with the mild Boil Bay sauce. The meal was great! If you take anything from this review, remember this-- ORDER EGGS WITH YOUR BAG! The reason why they do not have 5 stars, is because the wait staff was a little slow. Now, I believe it's because they did have a big party in here, but I had to ask for refills, crackers, and butter. The butter was separated so I ended up not using it. 7/10000 recommend. ”
